In the 6th minute, Fabiano De Vincentis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Florian Spagnuolo, passed just outside the right post. Edmondo Pani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Spagnuolo having to interfere. In the 9th minute of the match Eraldo Monaco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florian Spagnuolo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Fabiano De Vincentis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmondo Pani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Florian Spagnuolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Mosè-Giosuè's zone, Alex Castellani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Sabatino came out of the goal and Alex Castellani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fausto Biscotti's late challenge caught a SC PaulNewman's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Biscotti helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC PaulNewman booed when F.C. Mosè-Giosuè was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Biscotti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabiano De Vincentis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Florian Spagnuolo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fabiano De Vincentis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Florian Spagnuolo made a huge save. Alex Castellani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alberto Sabatino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC PaulNewman's zone, Edmondo Pani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Spagnuolo came out of the goal and Edmondo Pani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute Edmondo Pani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Spagnuolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Edmondo Pani made the kick off in the second half. Fausto Biscotti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Florian Spagnuolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fabiano De Vincentis came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the F.C. Mosè-Giosuè fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabiano De Vincentis couldn't finish the play. Ferdinando Benedetti fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 57th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Alex Castellani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Sabatino having to interfere. Edmondo Pani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, F.C. Mosè-Giosuè's Fabio Spione got a free kick in the 66th minute. Edmondo Pani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano De Vincentis in the 70th minute of play forced SC PaulNewman's goalkeeper Florian Spagnuolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the SC PaulNewman defense, Fabiano De Vincentis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florian Spagnuolo. The SC PaulNewman fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florian Spagnuolo should have stopped the shot. Amedeo Moschetta hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Florian Spagnuolo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Pani, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Edmondo Pani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Spagnuolo having to interfere. A collision led to F.C. Mosè-Giosuè getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Amedeo Moschetta hit a great ball. Alberto Sabatino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Rosati, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Florian Spagnuolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Spione in the 95th minute of the match. SC PaulNewman's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
