Spectators: 7312 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) Farneto AFC's Carter Carozza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Masi San Giacomo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Allegretti to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carter Carozza in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eraldo Volponi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 14 played minutes Farneto AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alessio Villani. If Anselmo Melucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Carter Carozza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Volponi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beppe Boldrini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filippo Ceresoli charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filippo Ceresoli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Carter Carozza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Beppe Boldrini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Eraldo Volponi made a huge save. The supporters of Farneto AFC booed when Masi San Giacomo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmondo Allegretti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Carter Carozza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Farneto AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carter Carozza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eraldo Volponi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 44 minutes, Christian Colaussi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Masi San Giacomo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Colaussi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Beppe Boldrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Colaussi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelo Tiberio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Farneto AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo Ciccone came free, but Edoardo Costacurta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Beppe Boldrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carter Carozza struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Eraldo Volponi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Farneto AFC. Carter Carozza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Melucci's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Edoardo Costacurta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Farneto AFC's Beppe Boldrini in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Masi San Giacomo's goalie prevented a goal. After 77 played minutes Masi San Giacomo got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Ciccone. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Carter Carozza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Farneto AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carter Carozza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eraldo Volponi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute, Carter Carozza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Farneto AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 85 minutes, Alessio Villani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Farneto AFC and the Masi San Giacomo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alessio Villani kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. With a little luck, Farneto AFC's Edoardo Costacurta got control of the ball when Anselmo Melucci tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Anselmo Melucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute Beppe Boldrini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Volponi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
