Florian Cala might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augusto Massaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florian Cala ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Tessello getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ernesto Astolfi hit a great ball. Enzo Del Monte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo Palmisano, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Armando Rallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Di Iorio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Massaro was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the game, Amerigo Ciapponi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diavoli Neri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tessello the free kick. Amerigo Ciapponi hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Florian Cala in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Augusto Massaro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Rallo in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enzo Del Monte saved Tessello from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Armando Rallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enzo Del Monte was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Fabiano Scevola took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enzo Del Monte. Tessello's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Armando Rallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Del Monte having to interfere. After the first half Diavoli Neri were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Emiliano Di Iorio made the kick off in the second half. Fabiano Scevola's late challenge caught a Tessello's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabiano Scevola helped the player get up and apologised. Fabiano Scevola hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Augusto Massaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Cala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes Tessello got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Palma. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diavoli Neri's goalkeeper Augusto Massaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 71 minutes, Florian Cala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tessello's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Cala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristoforo Palmisano got free with Enzo Del Monte in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the game, Armando Rallo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enzo Del Monte. Armando Rallo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Diavoli Neri's Augusto Massaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Di Iorio in the 88th minute of play. The Tessello supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Diavoli Neri's performance. The match ended with a win for Diavoli Neri.
