In the 14thth minute of the game Fedele Firmani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bassanello's Alfonso Mameli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Fedele Firmani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puccentus's supporters rose to their feet, but Fedele Firmani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Mameli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ermanno Tarquini hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Christian Carta came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Puccentus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Carta couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Gert Alrot notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Bassanello's Alfonso Mameli. Alfonso Mameli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Bassanello getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Alberigo Trivelli hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Christian Carta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 66 in the game by Fedele Firmani from a close distance when the talented Alfonso Mameli managed to make a qualified save. Bassanello's players were relieved. After 68 played minutes Bassanello got a freekick which was hit by Federico Manzo. After a rather tough play, Bassanello's Edoardo Palone got a free kick in the 69th minute. Bassanello's Alfonso Mameli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Firmani in the 72nd minute of play. Puccentus's Fedele Firmani was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 83rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Puccentus booed when Bassanello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edoardo Palone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ermanno Tarquini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Nicolai having to interfere. If Fedele Firmani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Bassanello fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Puccentus were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
