Federico Pierucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Falone having to interfere. With a little luck, Pioppa FC's Donato Falone got control of the ball when Federico Pierucci tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciro Tullio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Palomba having to interfere. Donato Falone acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ercole Piola. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Di Florio in the 45th minute of play forced Pioppa FC's goalkeeper Donato Falone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edoardo Di Florio to make the kick off. A collision led to Pioppa FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Frank Pugliese hit a great ball. In the 55th minute of the match Ercole Piola sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donato Falone skillfully saved the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Edoardo Di Florio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Donato Falone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Luminasio FC's zone, Cesare Evani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beppe Palomba came out of the goal and Cesare Evani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beppe Palomba didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pioppa FC's Cesare Evani shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 80th minute, Frank Pugliese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Pierucci might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Falone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Federico Pierucci ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th minute Ciro Tullio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Palomba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Tullio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edoardo Di Florio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Donato Falone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
