Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Damiano Vespa got the match started through his kick off. If Corrado Malinconico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edoardo Tullio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corrado Pascali came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Gom Gom™'s Corrado Malinconico. But to his dismay, Corrado Malinconico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dino Di Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corrado Pascali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Tullio in the 21st minute of play. Gom Gom™'s Edoardo Tullio got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alessio Marsili during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alessio Marsili kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Ardenza AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Malinconico came free, but Corrado Pascali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corrado Pascali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Tullio in the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Corrado Malinconico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gom Gom™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Corrado Malinconico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Gom Gom™'s Edoardo Tullio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Corrado Pascali narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Ardenza AFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Fulvio Baresi hit a great ball. Corrado Malinconico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Pascali having to interfere. In the 34th minute Edoardo Tullio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Pascali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corrado Pascali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Tullio, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Corrado Pascali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edoardo Tullio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edoardo Tullio was the one to do the kick off. If Corrado Malinconico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corrado Pascali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Tullio in the 58th minute of play. When Damiano Vespa came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Ardenza AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damiano Vespa couldn't finish the play. If Damiano Vespa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gom Gom™'s goalkeeper Eraldo Piretti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Gom Gom™'s goal looked a bit too open when Damiano Vespa came free, but Eraldo Piretti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Gom Gom™ defense, Damiano Vespa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eraldo Piretti. The Gom Gom™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eraldo Piretti should have stopped the shot. Ardenza AFC's Corrado Pascali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Tullio in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ardenza AFC's goalkeeper Corrado Pascali, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Alessio Marsili was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. The supporters of Gom Gom™ booed when Ardenza AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Marsili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corrado Pascali acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 75th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Felice Catini. Edoardo Tullio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Corrado Pascali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corrado Malinconico in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Corrado Pascali, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Carter Cerri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dino Di Francesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Eraldo Piretti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damiano Vespa hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Ardenza AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Corrado Malinconico scored to the left of an out of position Corrado Pascali, making the score, 1-2. Fulvio Baresi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Piretti having to interfere. Corrado Malinconico who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Corrado Pascali when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eraldo Piretti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Di Francesco in the 95th minute of play. The Gom Gom™ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gom Gom™ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
