Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rivabella AFC's Alvise Volpe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Rivabella AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Augusto De Santis hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the game, Emilio Brandini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivabella AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pontecchio Marconi FC the free kick. The supporters of Pontecchio Marconi FC booed when Rivabella AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Brandini didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rivabella AFC's goalkeeper Camillo Paolucci, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Rivabella AFC booed when Pontecchio Marconi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Alleva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pontecchio Marconi FC's Frank Bergamini got a free kick in the 18th minute. After taking down the ball on Rivabella AFC's corner Bruno Vago fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Enrico Cirulli quite easily take care of the ball. In the 25th minute Ciro Di Giacomo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camillo Paolucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrico Cirulli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tymoteusz Arnista in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Calabrese in the 31st minute of play forced Rivabella AFC's goalkeeper Camillo Paolucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Fabrizio Mannella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rivabella AFC's Camillo Paolucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arrigo Calabrese in the 34th minute of play. Augusto De Santis kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Alvise Volpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Cirulli having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pontecchio Marconi FC's zone, Bruno Vago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrico Cirulli came out of the goal and Bruno Vago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Pontecchio Marconi FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alvise Volpe fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Bruno Vago came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Rivabella AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Vago couldn't finish the play. Bruno Vago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arrigo Calabrese to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Bergamini got free with Camillo Paolucci in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Alvise Volpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 60 minutes into the game, Bruno Vago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Enrico Cirulli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Camillo Paolucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arrigo Calabrese, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Camillo Paolucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Calabrese in the 68th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Bruno Vago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rivabella AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Volpe in the 84th minute of play forced Pontecchio Marconi FC's goalkeeper Enrico Cirulli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Alvise Volpe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Vago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Enrico Cirulli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Vago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Cirulli having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Rivabella AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
