Donato Casale received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Livio Bianchini came out and tried to block the shot, but Donato Casale slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. If Federico De Paolis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Comunardo Dionisi kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Atletico Funcetta's Alfredo Cino in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.S. Bellaria Igea Marina's goalie prevented a goal. Beppe Vitullo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Federico De Paolis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edoardo Tosi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Tarulli hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Federico De Paolis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bellaria Igea Marina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edoardo Tosi should have stopped the shot. When Angelo Cavallucci fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Funcetta's protests and gave Angelo Cavallucci a yellow card for diving instead. Angelo Cavallucci hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Federico De Paolis to make the kick off. Federico De Paolis took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edoardo Tosi. Edoardo Tosi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Federico De Paolis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, A.S. Bellaria Igea Marina's Alfredo Pierucci got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Federico De Paolis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the A.S. Bellaria Igea Marina defense, Federico De Paolis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edoardo Tosi. The A.S. The crowd rose to their feet as Atletico Funcetta's Federico De Paolis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edoardo Tosi. That made the score 1-5 after 80 minutes of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico De Paolis couldn't finish the play. Federico De Paoliss short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Edoardo Tosi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Federico De Paolis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Edoardo Tosi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes of play, Atletico Funcetta's Federico De Paolis made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edoardo Tosi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd match minute, A.S. Bellaria Igea Marina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beppe Vitullo to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Funcetta's goalkeeper Livio Bianchini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The A.S. Bellaria Igea Marina fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atletico Funcetta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
