Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Asseggiano FC's Cristoforo Capuozzi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Asseggiano FC's zone, Beppe Fabri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmondo Urbani came out of the goal and Beppe Fabri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Catucci hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Asseggiano FC's Attilio Cinque got a free kick in the 12th minute. Emiliano Munno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Villani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo Capuozzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Emiliano Munno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beppe Fabri in the 20th minute of play forced Asseggiano FC's goalkeeper Edmondo Urbani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Emiliano Munno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmondo Urbani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Gismondi kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Alberigo Graziani kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Beppe Fabri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmondo Urbani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Foen FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Cristoforo Capuozzi scored to the left of an out of position Angelo Villani, making the score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dario Santacroce kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Angelo Villani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo Capuozzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Asseggiano FC's goalkeeper Edmondo Urbani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beppe Fabri. In the 55th minute, Cristoforo Capuozzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Villani was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of Asseggiano FC booed when Foen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Santacroce didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Asseggiano FC's Cesare Armellini broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cristoforo Capuozzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Villani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Colombo in the 66th minute of play forced Foen FC's goalkeeper Angelo Villani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Asseggiano FC's Edmondo Urbani got control of the ball when Emiliano Munno tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Cristoforo Capuozzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beppe Fabri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Urbani having to interfere. Emilio Franceschini kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristoforo Capuozzi in the 87th minute of play forced Foen FC's goalkeeper Angelo Villani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Munno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Urbani having to interfere. Cristoforo Capuozzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Asseggiano FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Foen FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
