Carmine Martano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide De Paolis in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Davide De Paolis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Carmine Martano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Flavio Furia came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Bertesina AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Furia couldn't finish the play. Internazionale FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Ferdinando Marzo scored to the left of an out of position Cristiano Varglien, making the score, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferdinando Marzo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristiano Varglien. That made the score 2-1 in the 40 minute of play. Internazionale FC's Cristiano Varglien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Zappacosta in the 47th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Ferdinando Marzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bertesina AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinando Marzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

In the 51st minute, Christian Cardano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Davide De Paolis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Varglien came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Bertesina AFC's Ferdinando Marzo. But to his dismay, Ferdinando Marzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 67th minute, Flavio Furia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 4-1 became the score in the 71st minute when Ferdinando Marzo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bertesina AFC's zone, Davide De Paolis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmine Martano came out of the goal and Davide De Paolis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eraldo Berti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carmine Martano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Internazionale FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Talamo to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Furia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Varglien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinando Marzo in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Ferdinando Marzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Varglien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Furia in the 93rd minute of play forced Internazionale FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Varglien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Internazionale FC's Cristiano Varglien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Furia in the 95th minute of play. Davide De Paolis struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Carmine Martano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Internazionale FC. Bertesina AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
