In the 7th minute there was a penalty for San Giorgio FC. Attilio Moretta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Enzo Di Liddo. 0-1. Enzo Di Liddo came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by San Giorgio FC's Carlo Capasso. But to his dismay, Carlo Capasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ercole Luzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damiano Graziani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ercole Luzi ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to San Giorgio FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Corrado Ascenzi hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Carlo Capasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Camillo Passalacqua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristoforo Napoleoni during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of MarmorolloFC booed when San Giorgio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Napoleoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camillo Passalacqua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Damiano Graziani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camillo Passalacqua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camillo Passalacqua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ercole Luzi got free with Damiano Graziani in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, San Giorgio FC's Damiano Graziani got control of the ball when Ercole Luzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. San Giorgio FC's Damiano Graziani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Passalacqua in the 44th minute of play. After 47 played minutes Camillo Passalacqua rounded San Giorgio FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. The MarmorolloFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Giorgio FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Camillo Passalacqua stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Damiano Graziani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camillo Passalacqua in the 65th minute of the match. San Giorgio FC's Damiano Graziani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercole Luzi in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of San Giorgio FC booed when MarmorolloFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermanno Brini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damiano Graziani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. San Giorgio FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
