Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Franco Casale kicked off to start the match. After 5 minutes Càtafório AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emiliano Buonanno who took care of the corner kick. Emiliano Buonanno made a great header on Boratella FC's corner, it was just that Càtafório AFC's Emilio Rosini managed to reach the ball for a save. 9 minutes into the game, Cristoforo Catena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Càtafório AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boratella FC the free kick. In the 10th minute, Cristoforo Catena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Càtafório AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Boratella FC:s goal. Domenico Ricci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Casale in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Boratella FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Comunardo Catapano hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Achille Napoleone sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Boratella FC's Domenico Ricci didn't even have to move. Emilio Rosini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Serantoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Boratella FC got a freekick which was hit by Comunardo Catapano. In the 25th minute of the match Achille Napoleone shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domenico Ricci showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Enrico Vida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franco Casale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Attilio Di Falco kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Serantoni in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Rosini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the game, Alberto Giampieri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Càtafório AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boratella FC the free kick. In the 45th match minute, Càtafório AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Giampieri to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Serantoni to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Alberto Serantoni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Càtafório AFC's Emilio Rosini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Càtafório AFC booed when Boratella FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amedeo Di Domenico didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Attilio Di Falco fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Càtafório AFC's protests and gave Attilio Di Falco a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Càtafório AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Attilio Di Falco hit a great ball. Enrico Vida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boratella FC's Domenico Ricci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Casale in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Càtafório AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Serantoni came free, but Emilio Rosini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alberto Serantoni came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Boratella FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Serantoni couldn't finish the play. If Alberto Serantoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Càtafório AFC's goalkeeper Emilio Rosini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emiliano Palmieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Rosini having to interfere. After having played for 97 minutes, Alberto Serantoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boratella FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Serantoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
