After a defensive mix-up in Tivoli AFC's zone, Attilio Nanni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberigo Zinni came out of the goal and Attilio Nanni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the game, Franco Cipriani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tivoli AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boara AFC the free kick. The supporters of Boara AFC booed when Tivoli AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Cipriani didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Tivoli AFC's Alberigo Zinni got control of the ball when Attilio Nanni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francesco Tristezza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Casale in the 42nd minute of play forced Tivoli AFC's goalkeeper Alberigo Zinni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Marconi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alberigo Zinni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Attilio Nanni scored 2-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberigo Zinni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Florian Casale made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Boara AFC booed when Tivoli AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmondo Crisantemo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boara AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
