In the 3rd match minute, Farrazzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amos Barberio to maneuver through the defense. Carter Filippini, 3 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pistoiese's Domenico Rigoni got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Farrazzano's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Rigoni came free, but Felice Cavallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felice Cavallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenico Rigoni in the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to Farrazzano getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Alberigo Bosso hit a great ball. Enzo Valerio's late challenge caught a A.C. Pistoiese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Valerio helped the player get up and apologised. Enzo Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Carter Filippini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fulvio Fontanive showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Munno, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Farrazzano's Franco Sisti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, A.C. Pistoiese's Biagio Tozzi got a free kick in the 31st minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Franco Sisti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Farrazzano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franco Sisti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franco Sisti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dario Munno struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Fulvio Fontanive didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Farrazzano. Franco Sistis short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Fulvio Fontanive to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fulvio Fontanive didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franco Sisti went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
In the 65th minute, Franco Sisti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Farrazzano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Felice Cavallo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Biagio Tozzi's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Fulvio Fontanive made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Munno in the 74th minute of play. Franco Sisti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Farrazzano's Felice Cavallo got control of the ball when Domenico Rigoni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felice Cavallo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domenico Rigoni in the 95th minute. Damiano Iannucci charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The corner led Farrazzano's Alberigo Bosso to fire away a dangerous shot which Fulvio Fontanive despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the A.C. Pistoiese players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Farrazzano.
