Spectators: 7392 (Terracing: 5546, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) Anunnaki CF's Alberto Paris started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camillo Camerlengo in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arrigo Avesani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arrigo Avesani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Camerlengo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dario Lelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the match, Alberto Paris dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ferruccio Villani, 1-0. If Anfilogino Melchiorre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Di Florio kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Camillo Camerlengo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo Avesani having to interfere. San Varano's Ferruccio Villani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Paris in the 33rd minute of play. Camillo Camerlengo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Arrigo Avesani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Gaspari kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Camillo Camerlengo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Emiliano Proietti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Proietti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Arrigo Avesani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Emiliano Proietti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arrigo Avesani was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Dario Lelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute Dario Lelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferruccio Villani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 played minutes Anunnaki CF got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Gaspari. Camillo Camerlengo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo Avesani having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Emiliano Proietti dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arrigo Avesani, 1-2. San Varano's Ferruccio Villani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Lelli in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match Anunnaki CF got a corner. San Varano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Achille Labate ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 80th minute, Camillo Camerlengo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Proietti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo Avesani having to interfere. When Emiliano Proietti came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the San Varano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Proietti couldn't finish the play. Alberto Paris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Villani having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
