Emanuele Gizzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermanno Petrella in the 25th minute of play. If Ermanno Petrella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Barbanti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Borgosatollo AFC's Emanuele Gizzi threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ermanno Petrella, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermanno Petrella in the 42nd minute of play forced tarantanight's goalkeeper Emanuele Gizzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermanno Petrella might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuele Gizzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
