Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Amos Tagliente made the kick off and thus started the match. When Arturo Panino came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Venaria Reale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Panino couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Chieri FC's zone, Bernardo Antenucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Cardella came out of the goal and Bernardo Antenucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venaria Reale's Flavio Torelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amos Tagliente in the 9th minute of play. Bernardo Antenucci struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Franco Cardella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venaria Reale. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Cerri in the 16th minute of play forced Chieri FC's goalkeeper Franco Cardella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Antenucci got free with Franco Cardella in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A well placed Alfredo Tammaro short distance shot in the 22nd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Chieri FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ercole Gentile 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. After a rather tough play, Chieri FC's Domenico Benvenuto got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes of play, Chieri FC's Amos Tagliente made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Torelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Franco Cardella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercole Gentile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ercole Gentile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Cardella having to interfere. Ercole Gentile could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Franco Cardella made a huge save. Franco Cardella made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ercole Gentile in the 38th minute. Ercole Gentile recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Alfredo Tammaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venaria Reale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Tammaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Amos Tagliente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alfredo Tammaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 80 minutes, Alfredo Tammaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venaria Reale's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Antenucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franco Cardella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Franco Cardella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Tammaro's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Ercole Gentile managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venaria Reale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ercole Gentile was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Venaria Reale had played much better football throughout.
