Emiliano Ciolli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Molino Nuovo AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Arrigo De Matteis hit a great ball. Emiliano Ciolli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Pantano in the 13th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Camillo Pantano made a precise shot to the right of Emiliano Ciolli. Valle Soana Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, Bianco Di Blasio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristoforo Cameli. Molino Nuovo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bianco Di Blasio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 34th minute Camillo Pantano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Ciolli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bianco Di Blasio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Ferruccio Mastrocola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valle Soana Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferruccio Mastrocola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Molino Nuovo AFC's goalkeeper Cristoforo Cameli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bianco Di Blasio. After having played for 42 minutes, Bianco Di Blasio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valle Soana Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bianco Di Blasio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carmine Sanna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Cameli having to interfere. After the first half Molino Nuovo AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ferruccio Mastrocola made the kick off in the second half. If Camillo Pantano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristoforo Cameli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferruccio Mastrocola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Arrigo De Matteis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valle Soana Football Club's Emiliano Ciolli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Valle Soana Football Club from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute, Ferruccio Mastrocola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristoforo Cameli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bianco Di Blasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Molino Nuovo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Mastrocola came free, but Cristoforo Cameli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Bianco Di Blasio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valle Soana Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Bianco Di Blasio might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristoforo Cameli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bianco Di Blasio ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Silvagni in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Ciolli saved Valle Soana Football Club from getting behind. Ernesto Silvagni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Ciolli having to make a save. 85 minutes into the match, Camillo Pantano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Ciolli. Valle Soana Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camillo Pantano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Antonello Di Matteo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Emiliano Ciolli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Valle Soana Football Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Molino Nuovo AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Molino Nuovo AFC.
