Thanks to some nice moves Emiliano Mattei could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Domenico Grifoni however easily saved by the left post. Lugagnano AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Fedele Bassani scored to the left of an out of position Domenico Grifoni, making the score, 2-0. After 31 played minutes, R. C. F. C.'s Armando Pensa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Domenico Grifoni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in R. C. F. C. reached it.
