In the 14th minute, Attilio Monzeglio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Mattei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bianco Garibaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Proia having to interfere. Attilio Monzeglio charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Attilio Monzeglio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Romano Banco getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Attilio Monzeglio hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Fedele Bassani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Proia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Mattei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Proia was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fedele Bassani in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Proia saved Romano Banco from getting behind. Alexander Proia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabio Loreto made a kick off. Alexander Proia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedele Bassani, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 69th match minute, Romano Banco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Monzeglio to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute of the match Fabiano Guarisi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexander Proia skillfully saved the ball. Carlo Marconi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Alexander Proia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee ignored Romano Banco's protests and gave Cristoforo Di Felice a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Romano Banco's Cristoforo Di Felice got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 79 minutes, Ennio De Marco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Romano Banco and the R. C. F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Romano Banco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio De Marco to maneuver through the defense. Attilio Ferraresi kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, R. C. F. C.'s Armando Pensa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Romano Banco's zone, Anfilogino Pensa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Proia came out of the goal and Anfilogino Pensa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over R. C. F. C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Romano Banco throughout the match.
