Ferruccio Luciano started the match with the kick off. Capo Colonna's Augusto Troiani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Juliano in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio Luciano in the 5th minute of play forced Capo Colonna's goalkeeper Augusto Troiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferruccio Luciano hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Domenico Miccoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Svante Enegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Grignano FC defense, Domenico Miccoli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Svante Enegren. The Grignano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svante Enegren should have stopped the shot. When %teams%'s Domenico Miccoli was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-0 just inside the left pole, 19 minutes into the game. Svante Enegren was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Domenico Miccoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Svante Enegren was a little too slow when Edoardo Belfiore got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domenico Miccoli in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Svante Enegren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th match minute, Grignano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Pelliccia to maneuver through the defense. When Capo Colonna's Domenico Miccoli, in the 40th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Capo Colonna. Aldo Pelliccia's late challenge caught a Capo Colonna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo Pelliccia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, one of Grignano FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grignano FC. In the 42nd minute, the referee gave Capo Colonna a penalty. Domenico Miccoli looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Svante Enegren.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domenico Miccoli made a kick off. Ferruccio Luciano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Troiani having to make a save. After 54 minutes Grignano FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edoardo Belfiore who took care of the corner kick. 64 minutes into the match, Grignano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Miccoli came free, but Svante Enegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Miccoli in the 65th minute of play forced Grignano FC's goalkeeper Svante Enegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes, Concetto Valente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grignano FC and the Capo Colonna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Concetto Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Svante Enegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermanno Santilli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Domenico Miccoli in the 74th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 75th minute, Robin Sandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Capo Colonna's Adrianinho Cerezo got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domenico Miccoli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Svante Enegren having to make a save. In the 82nd minute, Edoardo Belfiore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Capo Colonna booed when Grignano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Nero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Domenico Miccoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Enegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermanno Santilli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svante Enegren having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Dario Juliano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
