If Felice Romagnoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Crognale got free with Cristiano De Francesco in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Concetto Colantoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Marinucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Collina's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Crognale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano De Francesco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 97 minutes into the match, Enzo Crognale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano De Francesco. Camerano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enzo Crognale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Collina had played much better football throughout.
