After a defensive mix-up in Tornello FC's zone, Fulvio Passalacqua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Vitucci came out of the goal and Fulvio Passalacqua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 48 played minutes Tornello FC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Clemente. Aston Vulla were awarded a corner in the 51th minute after Tornello FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ercole Calcio took the corner. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Tornello FC's Antonio Vitucci got control of the ball when Fulvio Passalacqua tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute Diego Micucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Vitucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
