After 4 played minutes Monestirolo got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Di Fiore. Flavio Menna succeeded in the game's 7th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 11th match minute, Monestirolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Concetto Berardi to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Menna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Schirone having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Flavio Menna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monestirolo's Ennio Schirone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Flavio Menna took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Ennio Schirone to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Napolij getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Dino Galli hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Flavio Menna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennio Schirone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match, Flavio Menna tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ennio Schirone saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Frank Caccia managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Napolij fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Napolij's Flavio Menna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Flavio Menna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ennio Schirone having to make a save. Napolij's Frank Caccia got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Daniele Di Fiore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Flavio Menna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Carlo Dossena came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Napolij fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo Dossena couldn't finish the play. After having played for 93 minutes, Dino Galli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Napolij's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Galli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavio Menna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ennio Schirone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Caccia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Napolij walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
