The tension between the Ribera CF and the Brunate players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Brunate booed when Ribera CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Spitaleri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edoardo Bontempi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Albanesi in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Ribera CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Totaro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Brunate's Enzo Montini got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Ciro Gava was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brunate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ribera CF the free kick. Ciro Gava kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The long shot by Francesco Piattelli in the 28th minute really tested Edoardo Bontempi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alfonso Spitaleri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Edoardo Bontempi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ribera CF's Alfonso Spitaleri got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eraldo Gregori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Edoardo Bontempi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Felice Persia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Brunate's Edoardo Bontempi got control of the ball when Felice Persia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurelio Macchia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armin Gagliano's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Armin Fracassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ribera CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armin Fracassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfonso Spitaleri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Spitaleri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edoardo Bontempi having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amerigo Bottaro was the one to do the kick off. Felice Persia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ribera CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brunate the free kick. In the 67th match minute, Ribera CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eraldo Gregori to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Brunate getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Enzo Montini hit a great ball. If Felice Persia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ribera CF were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Brunate to leave the ground with a draw.
