The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilio Niccolai showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 40th minute, Alvaro Di Mario made a precise shot to the right of Emilio Niccolai. Snoopy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. When Enzo Giammaria came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Snoopy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Giammaria couldn't finish the play. A throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game was made by Andrea Iovine with Dennis Di Fazio as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Emilio Niccolai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Di Mario in the 79th minute of play. When Flavio Bellisario fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Snoopy FC's protests and gave Flavio Bellisario a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Snoopy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Bellisario to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Ferdinando Polo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
