The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elia Guidone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Di Battista having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Fabrizio Di Battista successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Domenico Orrore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Cassone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, Elia Guidone lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Fabrizio Di Battista. Fulminea's Domenico Orrore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Cassone in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Cassone in the 15th minute of play forced Fulminea's goalkeeper Domenico Orrore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Torre A Mare's Ettore Panza in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fulminea's goalie prevented a goal. Filippo De Lorenzi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Fabrizio Di Battista when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Filippo De Lorenzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabrizio Di Battista having to make a save. Elia Guidone struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Fabrizio Di Battista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fulminea. In the 35th minute, Elia Guidone made a precise shot to the right of Fabrizio Di Battista. Torre A Mare's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Torre A Mare's Alberigo Flocco got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Filippo De Lorenzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filippo De Lorenzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Fabrizio Di Battista made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elia Guidone was the one to do the kick off. Ettore Panza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 55 minutes, Anthony Cassone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torre A Mare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthony Cassone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Torre A Mare's Angelo Ferreri got a free kick in the 58th minute. With a little luck, Fulminea's Domenico Orrore got control of the ball when Ettore Panza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anselmo Savoia struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Fabrizio Di Battista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fulminea. In the 64th minute, Fabio Prosperi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabrizio Di Battista was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Filippo De Lorenzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anthony Cassone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domenico Orrore having to interfere. Ettore Panza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Domenico Orrore made a huge save. Ettore Panza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Fulminea's goalkeeper Domenico Orrore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ettore Panza. Domenico Orrore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Cassone, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Guidone in the 91st minute of play forced Torre A Mare's goalkeeper Fabrizio Di Battista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fulminea fans cheered their team off the field, for while Torre A Mare had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
