Gerhard Martin Geldreich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulvio Porreca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Caniglia in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, A.c. Picchia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Eboli to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in A.c. Picchia's zone, Emilio Caniglia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulvio Porreca came out of the goal and Emilio Caniglia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulvio Porreca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Caniglia in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, A.c. Picchia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carter Franceschi to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Caniglia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Enrico Filice hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulvio Porreca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Caniglia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute of the game Anthony Van Bever made a throw-in which Boldizsár Berkes played forward. If Enrico Filice had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ciccio Loody was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Caniglia was the one to do the kick off. When FC Rhodense's Gerhard Martin Geldreich in 57 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Fulvio Porreca guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. With an all-out effort, FC Rhodense's Fulvio Porreca threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gerhard Martin Geldreich, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 61st minute, Alessio Eboli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Ceccarelli kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Ciccio Loody shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Zollino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, FC Rhodense's Ercole Salvadore seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ercole Salvadore the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Rhodense protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ercole Salvadore had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 69th minute, Ercole Salvadore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francesco Scalabrino was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A.c. Picchia's Ciccio Loody got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Carter Franceschi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A.c. Picchia's Fulvio Porreca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save A.c. Picchia from getting a goal against them. Bruno Zollino came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by A.c. Picchia's Alessio Eboli. But to his dismay, Alessio Eboli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. FC Rhodense's Bruno Zollino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Loody in the 92nd minute of play. Fulvio Porreca didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. FC Rhodense were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
