Alberigo Cipriani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Marsili having to interfere. Alex Marsili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberigo Cipriani in the 16th minute of the match. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the game, Antonio Scivittaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LaMafiaDellArdo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cadibona FC the free kick. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LaMafiaDellArdo FC! In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Cadibona FC. Ernesto Spagnuolo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Corrado Taranto. 0-1. 34 minutes into the match, Cadibona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Cipriani came free, but Alex Marsili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corrado Taranto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessio Cusumano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 played minutes LaMafiaDellArdo FC got a freekick which was hit by Carter Vianello. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Alessio Cusumano put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Corrado Taranto. 40 minutes into the match, LaMafiaDellArdo FC's Flavio Rulli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Marsili narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Camillo Sacchetti struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Corrado Taranto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cadibona FC. Dino Carrea hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Rulli got free with Alex Marsili in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

A collision led to Cadibona FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Francesco Presutti hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Cadibona FC defense, Flavio Rulli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Marsili. The Cadibona FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Marsili should have stopped the shot. The supporters of LaMafiaDellArdo FC booed when Cadibona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Ippoliti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Cadibona FC defense, Alberigo Cipriani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Marsili. Alessio Ippoliti charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience was convinced that Alberigo Cipriani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Marsili was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Alberigo Cipriani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Alex Marsili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Pelati's late challenge caught a Cadibona FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Pelati helped the player get up and apologised. Despite being the better team, LaMafiaDellArdo FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
