Spectators: 7751 (Terracing: 5815, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alberigo Cipriani kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gordon Forrest during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bassa Valle FC's Gordon Forrest got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Alberigo Cipriani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Mazzocco having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gordon Forrest kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Corrado Taranto. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Adriano Pallini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bassa Valle FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Pallini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute, Gordon Forrest made a precise shot to the right of Corrado Taranto. LaMafiaDellArdo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Flavio Rulli managed to get in a good position for a shot. LaMafiaDellArdo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Rulli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Mazzocco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Adriano Pallini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bassa Valle FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Bassa Valle FC's Eugenio Mazzocco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Cipriani in the 27th minute of play. Flavio Rulli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Mazzocco having to interfere. Corrado Taranto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Forrest in the 41st minute of the match. Adriano Pallinis short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Corrado Taranto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gordon Forrest fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Taranto having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adriano Pallini made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Adriano Pallini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Corrado Taranto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Bassa Valle FC's Frank Paganelli in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LaMafiaDellArdo FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 56 minutes, Adriano Pallini made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. LaMafiaDellArdo FC's Corrado Taranto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bassa Valle FC's Gordon Forrest got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Corrado Taranto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Forrest in the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of LaMafiaDellArdo FC booed when Bassa Valle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Tonon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bassa Valle FC's Andrea Lio was substituted for Arrigo Alonzi. Corrado Taranto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gordon Forrest, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LaMafiaDellArdo FC! Bassa Valle FC's Gordon Forrest got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Adriano Pallini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bassa Valle FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Pallini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The Bassa Valle FC fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Bassa Valle FC's Adriano Pallini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 83rd minute Gordon Forrest shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Taranto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Bassa Valle FC fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Bassa Valle FC's Adriano Pallini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gordon Forrest sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Pallini in the 96th minute of play forced LaMafiaDellArdo FC's goalkeeper Corrado Taranto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Bassa Valle FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
