Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alberigo Cipriani started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, LaMafiaDellArdo FC's Donato Pelati got a free kick in the 4th minute. When Anfilogino Pace came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Porporana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anfilogino Pace couldn't finish the play. Alberigo Cipriani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Armando De Lellis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute Anfilogino Pace shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Taranto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corrado Taranto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Pace in the 12th minute of play. Corrado Taranto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anfilogino Pace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Antonio Del Vecchio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porporana's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Del Vecchio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corrado Taranto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Porporana's Armando De Lellis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Porporana from getting a goal against them. Anfilogino Pace succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberigo Cipriani in the 27th minute of play forced Porporana's goalkeeper Armando De Lellis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberigo Cipriani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alberigo Cipriani struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Armando De Lellis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LaMafiaDellArdo FC. In the 33rdth minute of the game Alberigo Cipriani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porporana's Armando De Lellis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Antonio Del Vecchio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Corrado Taranto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Flavio Rulli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Armando De Lellis firmly grabbed it by the left post. Anfilogino Pace struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Corrado Taranto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porporana. After the first half Porporana were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anfilogino Pace made a kick off. Adriano Dossena hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Amedeo Moretti charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amedeo Moretti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Alberigo Cipriani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flavio Rulli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Flavio Rulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Porporana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Dossena to maneuver through the defense. Corrado Taranto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anfilogino Pace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, LaMafiaDellArdo FC's Corrado Taranto got control of the ball when Antonio Del Vecchio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Porporana defense, Flavio Rulli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando De Lellis. The Porporana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando De Lellis should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Porporana's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Moretti came free, but Armando De Lellis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Del Vecchio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Corrado Taranto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, LaMafiaDellArdo FC's goalkeeper Corrado Taranto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Del Vecchio. If Comunardo Mazzola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corrado Taranto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anfilogino Pace in the 97th minute of the match. Porporana's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
