After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Eraldo Iezzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Longara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eraldo Iezzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Marsili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Eraldo Iezzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Marsili was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The Longara FC fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Longara FC's Eraldo Iezzi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gorosti Quintanilla was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. One of Longara FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cadibona FC:s goal. Aurelio Endira had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Ernesto Spagnuolo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 1-7 came in the 47th minute when Ernesto Spagnuolo all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Aurelio Endira.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alessio Cusumano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cadibona FC's Alex Marsili proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Cadibona FC from getting a goal against them. Alex Marsili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Søtherp in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Anthony Anelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Marsili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Longara FC's Damiano Biavati slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alex Marsili. That made the score 1-8 after 63 minutes of play. Damiano Biavati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Marsili having to interfere. When Linus Søtherp came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Longara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Linus Søtherp couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cadibona FC's goalkeeper Alex Marsili, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cadibona FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Longara FC the free kick. After 87 played minutes Cadibona FC got a freekick which was hit by Alessio Ippoliti. Linus Søtherp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Alex Marsili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Ernesto Spagnuolo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Longara FC's Comunardo Casale tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Longara FC's Linus Søtherp dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-11. When the final whistle sounded Longara FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cadibona FC.
