Bruno Zollino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Trevisani in the 10th minute of the match. The FC Rhodense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Trevisani in the 25th minute of play forced FC Rhodense's goalkeeper Bruno Zollino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Rhodense's Emilio Caniglia got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Gerhard Martin Geldreich ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvise Pelliccioni was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 33rdth minute of the game Gerhard Martin Geldreich who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porcareccia F.C.'s Alvise Pelliccioni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfredo Gizzis short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Bruno Zollino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 38 minutes into the match, Porcareccia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gerhard Martin Geldreich came free, but Alvise Pelliccioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Rhodense booed when Porcareccia F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosimo Fallito didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alfredo Gizzi came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Porcareccia F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Gizzi couldn't finish the play. If Gerhard Martin Geldreich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half FC Rhodense were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armin Trevisani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvise Pelliccioni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Caniglia in the 54th minute. In the 61st minute, Alfredo Gizzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Zollino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a rather tough play, FC Rhodense's Boldizsár Berkes got a free kick in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Armin Trevisani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Bruno Zollino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the match, FC Rhodense's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Trevisani came free, but Bruno Zollino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes of play, Porcareccia F.C.'s Alfredo Gizzi made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Zollino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flavio Montagna charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Montagna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Porcareccia F.C.'s Flavio Montagna got a free kick in the 78th minute. Emilio Caniglia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Pelliccioni having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gerhard Martin Geldreich's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvise Pelliccioni was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game.
