The audience was convinced that Armin Trevisani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando De Lellis was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Porcareccia F.C. defense, Antonio Del Vecchio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvise Pelliccioni. The Porcareccia F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvise Pelliccioni should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Porporana booed when Porcareccia F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biagio Rossini didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alfredo Gizzi came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Porcareccia F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Gizzi couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Trevisani in the 31st minute of play forced Porporana's goalkeeper Armando De Lellis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anfilogino Pace to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Trevisani in the 59th minute of play forced Porporana's goalkeeper Armando De Lellis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Antonio Del Vecchio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvise Pelliccioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Armin Trevisani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Molinaro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, Porporana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Molinaro to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Porcareccia F.C.'s Augusto Fioriti tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 85 minutes, Armin Trevisani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porcareccia F.C. and the Porporana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes Porcareccia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Armin Trevisani. In the 90th match minute, Porporana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Maranzano to maneuver through the defense. Porporana's Armando De Lellis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Porporana from getting a goal against them. Armando De Lellis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Trevisani in the 94th minute of play. Many of Porcareccia F.C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Porcareccia F.C. may have spent more time on the ball, but Porporana were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
