Emanuele Campoli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wawrzyniec Bochinski came out of the goal and Aurelio Chitarroni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Stracciaroli's Jonathan Chalk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuele Campoli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After having played for 91 minutes, Fausto Allegretti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stracciaroli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Allegretti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stracciaroli's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
