The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Biagetti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Ruggieri in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciccio Giancristofaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Achille Avesani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciccio Giancristofaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Ruggieri in the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Enzo Righi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciccio Giancristofaro. Operário Sangérsolense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enzo Righi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. If Anselmo Di Fabrizio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Federico Ruggieri came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the F.C. Partenope fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Ruggieri couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded F.C. Partenope left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Operário Sangérsolense.
