Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 0) F.C. Partenope's Federico Ruggieri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ciro Bussi's late challenge caught a Operário Sangérsolense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Bussi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Operário Sangérsolense booed when F.C. Partenope was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Bussi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Operário Sangérsolense getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Cesare Armellini hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Federico Ruggieri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciccio Giancristofaro was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 8th match minute, F.C. Partenope was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Petricca to maneuver through the defense. F.C. Partenope's Emanuele Liberatore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Partenope from getting a goal against them. In the 15thth minute of the game Federico Ruggieri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Operário Sangérsolense's Ciccio Giancristofaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Federico Ruggieri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciccio Giancristofaro was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Ruggieri in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciccio Giancristofaro saved Operário Sangérsolense from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Operário Sangérsolense's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Avesani came free, but Ciccio Giancristofaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuele Liberatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Biagetti in the 26th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Ruggieri in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciccio Giancristofaro saved Operário Sangérsolense from getting behind. F.C. Partenope's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Antonio Biagetti scored to the left of an out of position Emanuele Liberatore, making the score, 1-1. If Federico Ruggieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Righi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ciccio Giancristofaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Federico Ruggieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciccio Giancristofaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Ruggieri in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciccio Giancristofaro saved Operário Sangérsolense from getting behind.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Biagetti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ciccio Giancristofaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Ruggieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Biagetti scored 2-3 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuele Liberatore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Federico Ruggieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66thth minute of the game Federico Ruggieri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Operário Sangérsolense's Ciccio Giancristofaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th play minute Enzo Righi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ciccio Giancristofaro. 2-4. In the 71st minute, Cesare Armellini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when F.C. Partenope's Federico Ruggieri fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Operário Sangérsolense's Ciccio Giancristofaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Operário Sangérsolense from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Ruggieri in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciccio Giancristofaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Achille Avesani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciccio Giancristofaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Ruggieri in the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Enzo Righi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciccio Giancristofaro. Operário Sangérsolense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enzo Righi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. If Anselmo Di Fabrizio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Federico Ruggieri came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the F.C. Partenope fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Ruggieri couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded F.C. Partenope left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Operário Sangérsolense.
