Goalie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luca Azzone the free kick. Demetrio Aquilino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Fabio Finocchi made a huge save. 29 minutes into the game, Camillo Minicucci recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabio Finocchi. Camillo Minicucci showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 35th minute Emilio Pasin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Finocchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demetrio Aquilino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Fabio Finocchi made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Di Persio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Finocchi was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Goalie's Camillo Minicucci got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute Emilio Pasin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Finocchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Scirea hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Anselmo Di Persio struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Fabio Finocchi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goalie. In the 95th minute, Demetrio Aquilino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Goalie fully deserved thier win.
