Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Demetrio Nola charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demetrio Nola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Demetrio Nola hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Edmondo Catini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Finocchi. Luca Azzone's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Trapani's Enrico Belardi got a free kick in the 10th minute. Elia Berti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Fabio Finocchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulvio Antonelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luca Azzone's Alfonso Cesare got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trapani's Amerigo Leone shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fabio Finocchi but with some difficulty. Demetrio Nola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfilogino Nola having to interfere. Fabio Finocchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elia Berti in the 34th minute of the match. Luca Azzone's Fabio Finocchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Berti in the 38th minute of play. Fulvio Antonelli struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Anfilogino Nola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luca Azzone. Ernesto Domina kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

52 minutes into the game, Alexander Cristofari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trapani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luca Azzone the free kick. After a rather tough play, Trapani's Alexander Cristofari got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Berti in the 55th minute of play forced Luca Azzone's goalkeeper Fabio Finocchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Finocchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Belardi in the 56th minute of play. Demetrio Nola made in the 62nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fulvio Antonelli. 65 minutes into the match, Elia Berti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Finocchi. Luca Azzone's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elia Berti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 76th minute of the match Davide Moretti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Finocchi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Scirea in the 79th minute of play forced Trapani's goalkeeper Anfilogino Nola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulvio Antonelli's late challenge caught a Trapani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulvio Antonelli helped the player get up and apologised. Fabio Finocchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Berti, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Luca Azzone's Fulvio Antonelli got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ernesto Domina took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Finocchi. Luca Azzone's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Demetrio Nola was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Luca Azzone's Demetrio Nola got a free kick in the 94th minute. Fabio Finocchi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elia Berti's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The Trapani support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
