Camillo Giacomozzis short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Alessandro La Marca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alessandro La Marca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camillo Giacomozzi in the 17th minute. Cristoforo Antonacci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Elia Caiola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elia Caiola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biagio Torri, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Biagio Torri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Pani was the one to do the kick off. Alberto Pani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Alessandro La Marca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute Camillo Giacomozzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro La Marca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermanno Battisti's late challenge caught a Dadoranger’s AA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermanno Battisti helped the player get up and apologised. If Alberto Pani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Biagio Torri came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Zula FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Biagio Torri couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Domenico Liberatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Zula FC's Alvaro Cavallucci broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
