With a little luck, Peretti's Fedele Zara got control of the ball when Alberto Massimini tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Christian Cherubini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Alberto Massimini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Davide Zollino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peretti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportiva Parma the free kick. Davide Zollino hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Armando Di Renzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedele Zara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Peretti getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Emanuele Grilli hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Peretti's zone, Antonello Tarquini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fedele Zara came out of the goal and Antonello Tarquini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Massimini in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fedele Zara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sportiva Parma's Alberto Massimini got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Armando Di Renzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportiva Parma's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Di Renzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fedele Zara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th minute, Alberto Massimini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Fedele Zara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Di Renzo in the 77th minute of the match. Peretti's Ettore Bucci got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Ettore Bucci off the ground. Ettore Bucci hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Alberto Massimini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportiva Parma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.
