An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Eleuteri in the 16th minute of play forced Real Cuncuress's goalkeeper Cesare Prosperi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Real Cuncuress's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Villani came free, but Cesare Prosperi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Alfonso Villani notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Real Cuncuress's Cesare Prosperi. After a defensive mix-up in Real Cuncuress's zone, Dino Valletta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesare Prosperi came out of the goal and Dino Valletta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 38 minutes, Ferruccio Lucantoni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Cuncuress and the San Ferrini players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of San Ferrini booed when Real Cuncuress was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferruccio Lucantoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Villani in the 39th minute of play forced Real Cuncuress's goalkeeper Cesare Prosperi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Cuncuress's Cesare Prosperi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Eleuteri in the 41st minute of play. After 41 played minutes Real Cuncuress got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Petrini. Dino Valletta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cesare Prosperi. Real Cuncuress's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cesare Prosperi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Eleuteri, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After some careless play in the Real Cuncuress defense, Alfonso Villani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesare Prosperi. The Real Cuncuress fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesare Prosperi should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvise Marini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Dino Valletta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Ferrini's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Valletta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, San Ferrini's Alfonso Villani dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 67th minute, San Ferrini's Dino Valletta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Dino Valletta's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cesare Prosperi firmly grabbed it by the left post. 74 minutes into the match, Amedeo Eleuteri notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Real Cuncuress's Cesare Prosperi. Cesare Prosperi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. San Ferrini's Adriano Di Lorenzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Marini in the 78th minute of play. Cesare Prosperi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dino Valletta in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfonso Villani kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cesare Prosperi. That made the score 0-7 in the 87 minute of play. Real Cuncuress's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Alfonso Villani scored to the left of an out of position Cesare Prosperi, making the score, 0-8. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. San Ferrini walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
