Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ferruccio Martini started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Sporting Flora getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Francesco Balestra hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, Ambrosiana FC's Carter Scarinci broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Corrado La Marca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio Martini, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ambrosiana FC's zone, Ferruccio Martini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corrado La Marca came out of the goal and Ferruccio Martini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Ambrosiana FC's Alex Di Cristofaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessandro Tarulli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfredo Milani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ambrosiana FC's Domenico Stellato got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When Ferruccio Martini came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Sporting Flora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferruccio Martini couldn't finish the play. Alex Di Cristofaro succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After 31 played minutes Ambrosiana FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Malvezzi. 46 minutes into the game, Alfredo Milani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Flora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ambrosiana FC the free kick. In the 46th minute, Alfredo Milani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Di Cristofaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Carter Scarinci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carter Scarinci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Tarulli having to interfere. Alessandro Tarulli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter Scarinci in the 73rd minute of the match. Ferruccio Martini struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Corrado La Marca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Flora. After a rather tough play, Sporting Flora's Damiano Guidone got a free kick in the 78th minute. Comunardo Caruso made in the 82nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alex Di Cristofaro immediately put the ball in play. The coaching staff of Sporting Flora protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dave Bussi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Sporting Flora:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ambrosiana FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Alessandro Tarulli, was totally fooled by Ambrosiana FC's Carter Scarinci, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ambrosiana FC played a much better game than Sporting Flora and deserved their victory. The Sporting Flora players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
