Spectators: 7777 (Terracing: 5833, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 155) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emanuele Giardino kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lana Ombelicale FC's zone, Emanuele Giardino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Biagetti came out of the goal and Emanuele Giardino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Emanuele Giardino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosso Gialli FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuele Giardino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Biagetti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuele Giardino took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Biagetti. Ciro Biagetti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 17 minutes, Ferruccio Colantonio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rosso Gialli FC and the Lana Ombelicale FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lana Ombelicale FC booed when Rosso Gialli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferruccio Colantonio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Ciccio Caputo in the 19th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Achille Iacobucci's left hand side. Achille Iacobucci made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ciccio Caputo sent off a good shot on target. Emanuele Giardino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ciro Biagetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Rosso Gialli FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciccio Mangione. Ciccio Caputo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Iacobucci having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Emanuele Giardino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lana Ombelicale FC's Ciro Biagetti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 38 played minutes Lana Ombelicale FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvise Miconi. Ciccio Caputo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Achille Iacobucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciccio Caputo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Iacobucci having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Lana Ombelicale FC's Ciccio Caputo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciccio Caputo was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Rosso Gialli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Scalabrino to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 56 in the game by Emanuele Giardino from a close distance when the talented Ciro Biagetti managed to make a qualified save. Lana Ombelicale FC's players were relieved. Andrea Ceccarelli made a great header on Rosso Gialli FC's corner, it was just that Lana Ombelicale FC's Ciro Biagetti managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 76th minute, Ermanno Franceschelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee ignored Rosso Gialli FC's protests and gave Ciccio Mangione a yellow card for diving instead. Ciccio Mangione hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Frank Scafati hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. With his leg Ciro Biagetti managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Rosso Gialli FC's Antonio Giusti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Lana Ombelicale FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
