The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferruccio Granato hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the match, Borzoli FC's goalkeeper Amos Piacente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciccio Caputo. Emanuele Fiorentino kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Bruno Cacciatore kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvise Miconi in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amos Piacente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvise Miconi in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amos Piacente saved Borzoli FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Lana Ombelicale FC's Ermanno Franceschelli got a free kick in the 25th minute. Borzoli FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ciccio Caputo 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Frank Scafati hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Alvise Miconi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amos Piacente, passed just outside the right post. With a little luck, Borzoli FC's Amos Piacente got control of the ball when Ciccio Caputo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute Ferruccio Granato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Biagetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferruccio Granato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvise Guerriero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ciro Biagetti. Lana Ombelicale FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Amos Piacente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciccio Caputo in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute, Bruno Cacciatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Di Rocco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Biagetti made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Ferruccio Granato sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciccio Caputo in the 56th minute of play forced Borzoli FC's goalkeeper Amos Piacente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferruccio Granato hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Emanuele Fiorentino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Lana Ombelicale FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Monti came free, but Ciro Biagetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Lana Ombelicale FC's goalkeeper Ciro Biagetti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferruccio Granato. Alvise Guerriero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ciro Biagetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferruccio Granato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Biagetti having to interfere. Amos Piacente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Caputo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Di Rocco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciccio Caputo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Lana Ombelicale FC booed when Borzoli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Cacciatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lana Ombelicale FC's Ciccio Caputo in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Borzoli FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 92nd minute, Alvise Miconi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lana Ombelicale FC's Ciccio Caputo got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
