Alex Costantino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felice Mariano, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Antonio Della Francesca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Alex Costantino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ermanno Porreca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Biagio Addari made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Unione Venezia's Antonio Della Francesca got a free kick in the 51st minute. Antonio Della Francesca's late challenge caught a Giaguari Reali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Della Francesca helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Ermanno Porreca made a precise shot to the right of Alex Costantino. Giaguari Reali's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Felice Mariano hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Della Francesca in the 74th minute of play forced Giaguari Reali's goalkeeper Alex Costantino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
