The supporters of Santa Nicola booed when Kakamy Okatsu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Bontempi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camillo Melito came out of the goal and Bruno Zangari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Christian Mazzei could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Elia Rocchetti however easily saved by the left post. Christian Mazzei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Mazzei was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Claudio De Michele sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elia Rocchetti skillfully saved the ball. After 54 played minutes Santa Nicola got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Spitaleri. In the 55th minute Christian Mazzei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Rocchetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Christian Mazzei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Santa Nicola booed when Kakamy Okatsu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Gabriele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camillo Melito made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Bruno Zangari sent off a good shot on target. Amedeo Di Rado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Zangari got free with Camillo Melito in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camillo Melito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Di Rado in the 69th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Amedeo Di Rado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camillo Melito was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 77th minute, Santa Nicola's Bruno Zangari dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After 79 played minutes Kakamy Okatsu got a freekick which was hit by Christian Mazzei. 80 minutes into the match, Kakamy Okatsu's goalkeeper Camillo Melito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amedeo Di Rado. Kakamy Okatsu's Camillo Melito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Kakamy Okatsu from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Kakamy Okatsu's Camillo Melito got control of the ball when Bruno Zangari tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Ernesto Taranto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Camillo Melito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
