Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bolhamburg's Ettore Ingegno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Haroldo Admon scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermanno Grasso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ermanno Grasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Admon, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. SSC Bari's Ciro Borrelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Ingegno in the 10th minute of play. Cristoforo Carlini struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Ermanno Grasso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SSC Bari. In the 15th minute, Concetto Fioriti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Borrelli was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eugenio Rotondi. 17 minutes into the match, SSC Bari's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Ingegno came free, but Ciro Borrelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Borrelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ettore Ingegno's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haroldo Admon in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermanno Grasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27th play minutes Haroldo Admon shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Ermanno Grasso and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind SSC Bari's goalkeeper Ciro Borrelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ciro Borrelli was a little too slow when Ettore Ingegno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 1-2. When Ettore Ingegno came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Bolhamburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Ingegno couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Ettore Ingegno got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristoforo Carlini to strike the kick off in the second half. Achille Brandini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ciro Borrelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bolhamburg's Achille Brandini got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Borrelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Brandini in the 59th minute of the match. Daniele Rapone's late challenge caught a Bolhamburg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniele Rapone helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Daniele Rapone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ettore Ingegno came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Bolhamburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Ingegno couldn't finish the play. Ciro Borrelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ettore Ingegno's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achille Brandini in the 84th minute of play forced SSC Bari's goalkeeper Ciro Borrelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Achille Brandini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, SSC Bari's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Brandini came free, but Ciro Borrelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Concetto Fioriti's late challenge caught a Bolhamburg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Concetto Fioriti helped the player get up and apologised. Concetto Fioriti hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of SSC Bari were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Bolhamburg side.
