Simão Paraibano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Ermanno Grasso made a huge save. In the 7th minute Dane Renny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermanno Grasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Palace Supreme's zone, Damiano Piscopo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Dorigatti came out of the goal and Damiano Piscopo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Palace Supreme's Fausto Walcher got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 12 minutes of play, Palace Supreme's Achille Caccavale made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermanno Grasso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eugenio Dorigatti came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Bolhamburg's Damiano Piscopo. But to his dismay, Damiano Piscopo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ermanno Grasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Paraibano in the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Simão Paraibano could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Ermanno Grasso however easily saved by the left post. Ermanno Grasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achille Caccavale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Dorigatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Ingegno, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Achille Brandini put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Eugenio Dorigatti. Ermanno Grasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Paraibano in the 33rd minute of the match. Simão Paraibano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Ermanno Grasso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Ermanno Grasso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sixto Harriet went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. If Aristides Sabin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermanno Grasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Sabin in the 64th minute of play. When Palace Supreme's Simão Paraibano in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bolhamburg's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bolhamburg's zone, Sixto Harriet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermanno Grasso came out of the goal and Sixto Harriet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arrigo Casiraghi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Eugenio Dorigatti made a huge save. After 82 played minutes Ettore Ingegno rounded Palace Supreme's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-4. Eugenio Dorigatti made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Arrigo Casiraghi sent off a good shot on target. Bolhamburg's Ermanno Grasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Paraibano in the 90th minute of play. When Sixto Harriet came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Palace Supreme fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Harriet couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute Damiano Piscopo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Dorigatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Bolhamburg players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
