Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anthony De Paolis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Ingegno in the 12th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Bolhamburg got a freekick which was hit by Achille Brandini. When Cristoforo Prisco fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fizzonasco FC's protests and gave Cristoforo Prisco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fizzonasco FC's Cristoforo Prisco got a free kick in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Ingegno in the 21st minute of play forced Fizzonasco FC's goalkeeper Anthony De Paolis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anthony De Paolis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arrigo Casiraghi, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Arrigo Casiraghi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bolhamburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some careless play in the Fizzonasco FC defense, Ettore Ingegno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anthony De Paolis. The Fizzonasco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anthony De Paolis should have stopped the shot. Anthony De Paolis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Brandini in the 35th minute of the match. Arrigo Casiraghi took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anthony De Paolis. Anthony De Paolis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 42 minutes into the match, Achille Brandini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anthony De Paolis. Fizzonasco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Achille Brandini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 45 played minutes Bolhamburg got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Iacovacci. Arrigo Casiraghi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Anthony De Paolis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Angelini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Rotondi kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Corrado Chiarelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ermanno Grasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anthony De Paolis was a little too slow when Ettore Ingegno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-5. In the 60th minute, Achille Brandini reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anthony De Paolis. The goal made the score 0-6. Achille Brandini in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anthony De Paolis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Achille Brandini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Anthony De Paolis made a huge save. In the 71st minute Damiano Piscopo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony De Paolis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthony De Paolis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Ingegno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eraldo Bozzo got free with Anthony De Paolis in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 79 minutes, Corrado Chiarelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fizzonasco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corrado Chiarelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Achille Brandini in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anthony De Paolis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Anthony De Paolis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damiano Piscopo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Casiraghi in the 93rd minute of play forced Fizzonasco FC's goalkeeper Anthony De Paolis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute of the match, Eraldo Bozzo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anthony De Paolis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the final whistle sounded Bolhamburg left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fizzonasco FC.
