In the 12th minute Simão Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Benedetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sixto Harriet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Simão Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mirano's zone, Sixto Harriet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beppe Benedetti came out of the goal and Sixto Harriet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beppe Benedetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Paraibano in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mirano's Cesare Di Febo got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Simão Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beppe Benedetti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simão Paraibano's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Dane Renny took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Beppe Benedetti to make any attempt to save it. In the 39th minute of the match Raimundo Batista shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beppe Benedetti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Simão Paraibano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Beppe Benedetti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Simão Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

55 minutes into the game, Alfonso Vasco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eugenio Dorigatti. Alfonso Vasco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. 60 minutes into the game, Comunardo Gismondi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Eugenio Dorigatti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Simão Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palace Supreme's supporters rose to their feet, but Simão Paraibano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beppe Benedetti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the match, Dane Renny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beppe Benedetti. Mirano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dane Renny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 5-3 when Simão Paraibano sped through Mirano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Beppe Benedetti. The supporters of Mirano booed when Palace Supreme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dane Renny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Faccio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Beppe Benedetti. Mirano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Mirano's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Paraibano came free, but Beppe Benedetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beppe Benedetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dane Renny, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Aldo Leone's late challenge caught a Palace Supreme's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo Leone helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Aldo Leone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beppe Benedetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Paraibano in the 91st minute of the match. If Sixto Harriet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th match minute, Mirano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Vasco to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Palace Supreme players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
